Coach | L1
I started CrossFit here at 904 in late 2022 after one of my coworkers—who quickly became one of my best friends—dragged me into my first workout. I had never really done organized fitness before, but after that first class, I was hooked almost immediately.
Helping people has always been a huge part of who I am, which is one of the reasons I became a nurse. That same passion naturally carried over into coaching. Since starting CrossFit, I’ve lost over 80 pounds, earned my CF-L1 in February 2024, and found something I truly love doing: helping athletes grow in confidence and accomplish things they never thought possible.
One of the things I love most about CrossFit is that everything can be scaled. Whether you’re brand new or pushing for the highest level possible, everyone can walk through the same doors and put in the work together. In the end, we all usually wind up laid out on the floor questioning why we signed up for this in the first place.
If you take one of my classes, there’s a good chance you’ll catch me singing and dancing to my playlists or cracking jokes while everyone tries to survive the workout. I love creating an environment where people can work hard, laugh a little, and actually enjoy showing up.
Outside of the gym, I spend as much time as possible with my wife and our two boys. I’m also really into photography and can usually be found behind a camera at local car shows, special events, my kids’ sporting events, CrossFit competitions, or around the Jacksonville area capturing whatever catches my eye.
