Success requires motivation.
That's why we spend as much time focusing on your progress as we do coaching your movement. At CrossFit 904, we know that the "perfect" workout doesn't matter if you don't feel motivated to keep showing up.
Here's what we've learned:
We're often our own toughest critics. We focus on what we didn't do instead of celebrating what we did.
That's why at CrossFit 904, we celebrate every win—not just PRs. Maybe you showed up on a day you didn't feel like it. Maybe you got your first pull-up, moved better than last month, or simply stayed consistent all week. Those wins matter.
One of the best ways to stay motivated is to intentionally notice the good.
Gratitude doesn't always come naturally. That's why it's called a practice. Some days it feels awkward, but it has a powerful impact on how we see ourselves and our progress.
That's why every Friday we celebrate our Bright Spots.
A Bright Spot can be anything worth celebrating:
Not every Bright Spot has to happen inside the gym. Life outside these walls matters just as much!
If sharing feels a little uncomfortable at first, that's completely normal. You might think, "Nobody wants to hear about my week," but the truth is that's exactly what makes our community special. We celebrate each other, encourage each other, and remind one another that progress comes in many forms.
So here's your challenge:
What's one thing you did right this week? What's one win—big or small—that you're proud of?
Share your Bright Spot in the CrossFit 904 Members Facebook Group and help us celebrate with you!
We're more than a gym—we're a community. Let's head into the weekend remembering how far we've come, not just how far we have to go.
